Duty Manager Airline Operations for ASISTIM

First2 Resource is looking for Duty Manager Airline Operations on behalf of our client ASISTIM.

ASISTIM Airline Services & Academy, a SITA company based in Hannover, is a prominent airline service provider known for delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Their Airline Operation Control Centre (AOCC) is the heart of their service scope, ensuring seamless coordination and management of flights globally.

Role Requirements:
  • Dispatch License or Initial Flight Operations Officer Certificate (ICAO 10106 / EASA.ORO.GEN 110(c))
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in airline operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within an Operation Control Centre
  • Strong knowledge of airline operations, including flight planning, dispatch, scheduling, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using airline operations software and systems
  • Strong understanding of safety management systems (SMS) and risk management principles
  • Willingness to work in shifts
Main Duties:
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of our customer airlines in the Operation Control Centre, ensuring all flights are monitored and managed effectively
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless flight operations, including dispatch, crew scheduling, and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Manage irregular operations and crisis situations, providing effective solutions and support
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the OCC team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and manage operational reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in the development and implementation of operational strategies and policies
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating relevant innovations into our operations
