Recruiting Specialist

Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruiting Specialist to join our client's team on a full-time basis in Malta. This role is pivotal in leading talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the right people are brought on board to drive the success of our client's restaurant operations.

Role Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting for the restaurant industry
  • Proven experience in sourcing and placing candidates in various restaurant roles, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and management positions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple open roles simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, CRM systems)
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices specific to the restaurant industry
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to hiring and recruitment within the restaurant sector
  • Understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape in restaurant recruitment
  • Right to live and work in the EU
Main Duties:
  • Proactively source, identify and engage top talent across various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for a range of restaurant positions, from front-of-house staff to culinary professionals
  • Conduct thorough screening interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit within the diverse restaurant environments
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews in collaboration with restaurant managers and team leaders, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process
  • Partner with restaurant managers and department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to the restaurant industry
  • Provide guidance and expertise on recruitment best practices specific to the restaurant sector
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback throughout the recruitment process
  • Act as a brand ambassador, showcasing the company culture and values to prospective restaurant employees
  • Utilize recruiting metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in restaurant recruitment to continuously refine the talent acquisition approach
