Semi-Senior Auditor

Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive semi-senior auditor to join our client’s team on a full-time basis in Malta.

The ideal candidate will support audit seniors in statutory audits and contribute to delivering high-quality financial assessments. This role offers excellent growth opportunities, professional training, and a dynamic working environment.

Role Requirements:
  • University degree or ACCA semi-qualified
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in auditing
  • Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
  • Ability to learn quickly and deliver high-quality work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Legal right to live and work in the EU
Main Duties:
  • Assisting audit seniors in conducting statutory audits
  • Reviewing transactions, documents, records, and reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Understanding the commercial objectives of the business and the impact of external audits
  • Preparing audit working papers promptly
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other required reports
  • Liaising with external advisors as needed
  • Meeting specified work plan deadlines
  • Performing other assigned duties and supporting various audit projects
  • Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure cohesive audit functions
