Sales Manager

Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager on behalf of our well-known client to join their team in Malta.

This is an innovative financial technology company in payment card acquiring that provides European merchants with state-of-the-art solutions for their payment card transaction needs.

The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving the company’s sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies.

Reporting to the Head of Commercials, this role involves full ownership of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals and providing after-sales support.

Role Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the payment solutions, financial services, or technology sector
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and close sales opportunities with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain trusted client relationships
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage the sales process from start to finish
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle evolving responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel for events, conferences, and client meetings as required
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset
Main Duties:
  • Identify and engage potential merchants to grow a robust sales pipeline
  • Promote and sell the company's gateway and acquiring solutions to merchants
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with merchants to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Provide after-sales care and support as needed to maintain client satisfaction
  • Manage the entire sales process, acting as the primary point of contact for merchants
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Adapt to a dynamic role by taking on diverse tasks and responsibilities as required
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing the company's solutions and building networks
