Senior Compliance Executive

Meliteh Recruiting is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Compliance Executive to join our client's team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day compliance matters for the firm and its portfolio of local and international clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in compliance and AML to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of the compliance function. Role Requirements • A qualification or background in finance, legal, or anti-money laundering • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong problem-solving skills • Above-average IT skills, with a good knowledge of Excel • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new skills continuously • Excellent written and spoken English language skills • High attention to detail • Ability to input information quickly and accurately from various sources into a database • Legal right to live and work in the EU Main Duties • Coordinate customer onboarding requests and monitor existing business relationships • Handle the entire CDD process for different types of legal entities and natural persons • Supervise and review tasks performed by the compliance team • Report to AML consultants and the MLRO • Conduct customer risk assessments and liaise with AML software providers • Assist in the preparation of BRA and REQ documents • Handle highly technical and complex situations and structures • Communicate with authorities as needed • Schedule and plan work for the compliance team • Ensure adherence to the firm’s policies and procedures • Respond to client queries regarding requested documents • Input key customer data into the central database • Attend anti-money laundering training provided by the firm • Collect customer due diligence documents, request missing information, and escalate red flags • Update internal files and records, ensuring company and beneficial ownership records are accurate and up to date Benefits Package: • Competitive salary • Sponsored daily lunches • Health Insurance Plan • Training in collaboration with “Russell Bedford” • CPE Training Courses and Additional Continuous Training • Flexibility & Hybrid Working Model • Employee Assistance Program • Corporate Discounts and Beneficial Rates • Collaboration with a local bank, which provides employees with beneficial rates on loans Application Process: • Meliteh Recruiting screening • Client screening • Face-to-face interview We welcome all applications, but please note we will only contact candidates shortlisted in the second round.
