Meliteh Recruiting is hiring a Bartender for one of our clients to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis in Malta. Role Requirements: • Strong knowledge of beer, cocktails, spirits, wines, and mixology • Ability to analyze and interpret drink recipes and operational manuals • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with guests and colleagues • Possession of a food handling license • In possession of a valid Skills Pass (www.skillspass.org.mt) • Proficient in verbal and written English communication • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays • Ability to stay organized and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment • Legal right to live and work in the EU Main Duties: • Learn, mix, and serve a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring high quality and consistency • Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service by taking drink orders, offering recommendations, and enhancing the overall guest experience • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware throughout the shift • Take accurate food and drink orders, considering dietary requirements and allergen procedures • Monitor, maintain, and replenish stock levels as needed, ensuring timely communication of stock shortages • Prepare garnishes and other ingredients for cocktails, ensuring freshness and availability • Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all tools and ingredients are in place • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely, following company procedures • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices • Collaborate with the bar team and other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive working environment • Continuously improve knowledge of beverages, mixology, and bar operations through training and keeping up with industry trends • Mentor and support barbacks to develop their skills and grow into bartender roles • Complete online training within two weeks of the start date Benefits Package: • Full-time contract • Competitive salary • Professional development • A dynamic and supportive work environment Application Process: • Meliteh Recruiting screening • Client screening • Face-to-face interview We welcome all applications, but please note we will only contact candidates shortlisted in the second round.
