HR and Payroll Manager

Meliteh Recruiting is hiring an experienced HR and Payroll Manager to join our client's HR team on a full-time basis. Join their dynamic team in the aviation industry and payroll Malta, where you will take full ownership of the HR and payroll management functions. This is a pivotal role within our client’ international HR structure, responsible for ensuring full compliance with Maltese employment laws and supporting their continued growth through effective, hands-on HR practices. Role Requirements: • University degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a senior HR role with international and/or aviation industry experience preferred • Strong knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR compliance requirements • Experience in payroll processing and proficiency with payroll systems • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken • Strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently, and a service-oriented mindset • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Preferably already located in Malta and/or has legal right to live and work in the EU Main Duties: • Oversee and manage all HR and payroll functions, ensuring full compliance with Maltese employment laws and regulations • Lead HR strategy, with a focus on employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives to support business growth • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and address any payroll-related queries or issues as needed • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, employment contracts, and internal processes to maintain a compliant and structured work environment • Act as a key point of contact for employee relations, supporting a positive and inclusive workplace culture • Maintain HR documentation and records in compliance with GDPR and internal audit requirements • Provide HR data, reports, and insights to support strategic decision-making • Perform other HR-related duties and projects as required to support business needs Benefits Package: • Full-time contract • Office Base – Malta • Competitive salary • Health insurance • Professional development • A vibrant and collaborative work environment Application Process: • Meliteh Recruiting screening • Client screening • Face-to-face interview We welcome all applications, but please note we will only contact candidates shortlisted in the second round.
