Payroll Executive

Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join our client’s team on a full-time basis in Malta. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day payroll operations and support the Senior Payroll Executive in overseeing the onboarding and offboarding processes.

This role involves ensuring accurate salary calculations, resolving payroll-related issues, compiling monthly payroll reports, and providing support to employees regarding payslip queries.

Role Requirements:
  • Minimum of O’ level standard of education
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working in a payroll department
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential
  • Knowledge of Indigo payroll software is preferred
  • Good command of both Maltese and English languages
  • Right to live and work in the EU
Main Duties:
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees
  • Calculate salaries and ensure timely payroll processing
  • Resolve any payroll-related issues promptly
  • Monitor and compile monthly payroll reports
  • Provide information and support to employees regarding payslip queries
  • Prepare and submit statutory forms FS5 and FS7 online
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the department
