Human Resources Officer

Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a dedicated and organized Human Resources Officer to join our client's HR team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personnel records, updating internal databases, handling employee queries, coordinating calendar activities, and preparing work permit applications for third-country nationals and refugees.

Main Duties:
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases
  • Answer employee queries about HR-related issues
  • Maintain schedules and coordinate calendar activities
  • Prepare work permit applications for third-country nationals and refugees, and administer single permit renewals
  • Perform other HR-related tasks as needed
Role Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Maltese
  • Familiarity with HR databases and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience with recruitment processes is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Right to live and work in the EU
