We are hiring a 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 to join the Technical Operations team of an air cargo airline, based in 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚. This role offers the opportunity to provide engineering expertise across a cargo aircraft fleet, supporting powerplant-related maintenance, modifications, reliability improvements, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic aviation environment. 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: ⦁ Provide powerplant engineering support to Technical Operations, MCC, and Part-145 organizations. ⦁ Ensure aircraft configuration control and fleet commonality. ⦁ Review OEM documentation (SBs, SILs, FTDs) and advise on implementation. ⦁ Support STCs and minor modifications based on operational needs. ⦁ Develop preventive maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives. ⦁ Support AOG situations to minimize aircraft downtime. ⦁ Analyze Airworthiness Directives and mandatory requirements and define compliance plans. ⦁ Manage approvals for deviations from Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (AMOCs, repair deviations). ⦁ Liaise with OEMs, vendors, authorities, and maintenance organizations. ⦁ Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects, including aircraft phase-in and phase-out. 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: ⦁ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering. ⦁ 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, with 5–10 years of aviation experience overall. ⦁ Strong knowledge of EASA and FAA regulations, particularly Part-CAMO, Part-21, and Part-145. ⦁ Experience with Boeing 747, 767, or 777 cargo aircraft is an advantage. ⦁ Proactive, well-organized team player with strong analytical and communication skills. ⦁ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Swiss-AS AMOS is an advantage. ⦁ Fluent in English. ⦁ Legal right to live and work in EU.
