With its partners, MHC Aviation can offer tailored training solutions for airline crews. In collaboration with our esteemed partners, we arrange custom training programs for our client's needs to enhance the skills, safety, and performance of pilots and cabin crew. Our tailored courses can offer our clients additional flexibility when their airline requires extra resources to meet its targets.
Airbus A320 Type Rating (ZFTT and non-ZFTT) is a specialized training program for pilots who wish to become certified to operate the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. This type rating includes two pathways: Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) and non-ZFTT.
CCQ A320 to A330 Course / CCQ A330 to A320 Course: Specialized training programs allow pilots to transition between the Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft with minimal additional training, thanks to the high level of commonality between the two types.
MHC Aviation partners with leading aviation training organizations and technology providers to deliver quality training experiences. Our collaborations ensure access to the latest industry knowledge, best practices, and innovative training technologies.
A Type Rating certification qualifies pilots to operate a specific aircraft model—in this case, the Airbus A320. MHC Aviation offers Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) and non-ZFTT options for A320 Type Ratings with its partners.
ZFTT allows experienced pilots to complete their type rating entirely in a full-flight simulator without needing in-aircraft training, provided they meet specific criteria, such as prior experience on other jet aircraft and recent flight hours.
ZFTT: Suitable for pilots with prior jet experience, only allowing training to be completed in simulators.
Non-ZFTT: Includes in-aircraft training sessions for pilots without recent jet experience or who do not qualify for ZFTT.
Pilots must have:
A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with ATPL theory or ATPL
A valid Instrument Rating (IR)
A minimum number of flying hours (varies based on ZFTT/non-ZFTT)
A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
Airbus A330 Type Rating (ZFTT)
The Airbus A330 Type Rating allows pilots to operate the A330 aircraft, with ZFTT enabling them to complete training using only a full-flight simulator, provided they meet the necessary experience requirements.
Candidates must have recent experience flying another multi-crew, jet transport aircraft, and meet the minimum flight hours requirement as well as have a valid A320 or similar Type Rating.
Cross-Crew Qualification (CCQ)
Cross-Crew Qualification (CCQ) allows pilots to transition between Airbus aircraft models, such as moving from the A320 to the A330 or vice versa, with minimal training due to the commonality in Airbus cockpits and systems.
This course allows A330-rated pilots to transition to the A320 with reduced training. It focuses on operational differences, as Airbus maintains significant systems commonality between these aircraft.

LPC Renewal
LPC (License Proficiency Check) Renewal is required for pilots whose type rating has expired or those who failed to renew their proficiency on time. We can arrange for renewal programs for pilots to regain currency.
If your LPC has expired, you must undergo refresher training followed by a proficiency check to restore your type rating. The exact requirements will depend on how long your LPC has been expired.
MHC Aviation provides a tailored remedial training program for pilots who have failed their LPC. This includes targeted simulator sessions and one-on-one instruction to address the areas that led to the failure, followed by a re-check
Low Visibility Operations Course
This course trains pilots to operate aircraft safely in low-visibility conditions, such as during Category II/III approaches in fog or heavy rain. The course covers operational procedures, regulations, and Autoland systems.
This course is ideal for pilots operating in challenging weather conditions or transitioning to airlines or airports with frequent low-visibility operations.
Airbus A320 TRI Course
The Type Rating Instructor (TRI) course for the A320 certifies experienced pilots to instruct other pilots on the aircraft type. It includes theoretical and practical training, such as instructional techniques and simulator sessions.
Applicants must have:
A current A320 Type Rating
A valid ATPL or CPL with ATPL theory
A minimum number of hours on the A320 as pilot-in-command or co-pilot
Experience in multi-crew operations
Cabin Crew Initial Course
Anyone looking to become a cabin crew member can enrol, provided they meet basic eligibility requirements such as age (typically 18+), language proficiency, and medical fitness.
The length of the courses varies depending on the specific program:
