    Financial Controller

    Meliteh Recruiting is seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Controller to join our client's team on a full-time basis in Malta. This role involves comprehensive financial oversight, reporting directly to the CFO, and contributing to the company's financial performance and strategic planning. Role Requirements: • ACCA qualification or equivalent • Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word • Proven work experience in a similar position • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Strong leadership and team management skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Right to live and work in the EU Main Duties: • Prepare monthly management statements promptly to facilitate the review of the company’s financial performance • Lead the preparation of the yearly budget and regular forecasts in collaboration with other department managers and the CFO • Prepare cash flows, VAT returns, and financial information for upcoming and existing projects or business opportunities • Act as the first line of contact for external auditors to ensure the prompt and accurate preparation of the statutory audit • Monitor debtors and credit control, ensuring effective reporting to the Group CFO and senior management • Support accounts staff with daily monitoring of cash settlements and accounts receivable • Motivate and lead the finance team members on a daily basis Benefits Package: • Full-time contract • Competitive salary • Professional development • A dynamic and supportive work environment Application Process: • Meliteh Recruiting screening • Client screening • Face-to-face interview We welcome all applications, but please note we will only contact candidates shortlisted in the second round.
