Project Planner and Scheduler

Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a talented and well-organized individual to join our client team as a full-time Project Planner and Scheduler in Malta. This pivotal role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery. As a Project Planner and Scheduler, you will develop comprehensive project schedules, allocate resources, and work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Your goal will be to ensure construction projects are executed efficiently and on time.

Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in construction project planning and scheduling
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in construction
  • Right to live and work in the EU
Main Duties:
  • Develop detailed project schedules covering all phases of construction, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
  • Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to various projects to ensure optimal resource utilization and adherence to project timelines
  • Identify critical paths within project schedules and proactively manage potential delays by proposing solutions and adjustments
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to align their schedules with project timelines and monitor their progress
  • Identify and assess potential risks to project schedules and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays
  • Regularly track and report project progress against the established schedule, highlighting any deviations and proposing corrective actions
  • Assess the impact of change orders on project schedules and work with stakeholders to minimize disruptions
  • Maintain open and effective communication with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed of schedule changes and project status
